Having worked in various healthcare settings, I’ve seen and experienced how the loving, caring hearts of caregivers can become overtaxed, causing them to lose focus. This reality became especially clear when I was the director of mental health services at a university. Witnessing the diligent and inspired work of my staff, I felt called to support them in a new way. From that need, Telos Cura was born.

With the Fall of Man and Original Sin, living in the human condition can often feel like a ship tossed by the storm at night, or marooned in a vast sea of nothingness. We can feel at war within ourselves: the tempest in the whisper.

When alive, did the saints of old have some superhuman power to rise above the human condition, swat away struggles, and unflinchingly stand face-to-face with the Devil?

For too long, many Catholics have felt caught between a secular psychology that can feel empty of God and a rich spiritual tradition that can sometimes feel inaccessible. The Quomnia Way is designed to be the bridge.

Through the Quomnia way and its first movement, Examine the Source, we learn to gain insight into our own nature, grasp the realities of the world, recognize the divine origin of all truth and life, and make our way out of darkness to the light.

Rather than just a boring old blog post, we thought we’d give you a sneak peek into the portion of the Quomnia book, revealing the story and symbolism of the Quomnia Torch.
